Happy 4th!

Happy 4th of July a few days late:) The dial up service there pretty much sucks, because, well, we're at a lake in the middle of nowhere! The only reason we have a phone line is for basic 911 service since cell phones don't work there. And why are we trying to get online anyway at the lake? The kids were in bed and there was nothing good on HGTV!

Sydney was deathly afraid of the fireworks as usual. We thought it was going to be better this year, but she spent the first part of the night hiding in the car while we were all enjoying being outside over at Phil's Uncle Tommy and cousin Michael's campers. She watched some DVD's with her headphones up as loud as they would go watched a few fire works. I guess she got bored so she came out for a little while and walked around in her ear muffs, HAHAHA. You had to be there. It was hilarious. Phil spent the rest of the evening in Michael and Mary's camper with her while I got to enjoy the hilarious Mollie watching the fireworks with her special glasses. For some reason Phil's cousin Kelley also likes to create his own dynamite-like fireworks and they scare the crap out of everyone. Last night there were a few residual fireworks and Sydney handled those really well. I missed the opportunity to get a picture of her running around with not only ear muffs, but goggles as well. Not sure why. But it was cute! The weather was kind of rainy and unseasonably cool while we were there so we only got one little boat ride in on Friday. We had fun playing though, especially with Grace and Michael and Mary!

Tonight and tomorrow will be filled with laundry and Gramma time before we head back out to the beach on Tuesday! I think I might be crazy!
