The girls and the alligator at the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher. They had tons of alligators hanging out right there at the glass. 4 of them were on top of each other snuggling. We rode the ferry from there to Southport on Tuesday on the way down here and it was a super cool thing to do. I had never been on a ferry myself and we all really enjoyed it. It was a short ride, a little less that 45 min. And as Sydney noted right away, they have "little refrigerators where you can get a snack if you want to, yeah, anybody can, can we get one?" That would be the vending machines:) She and Mollie shared a little snack at the top in the air conditioned part of the ferry.

So in the last 2 weeks the girls have been to the NC Museum of Natural Sciences, NC Zoo, Tweetsie Railroad, Watauga lake for 3 nights, NC Aquarium, on a ferry, and to the beach. Think that's enough excitement? We are NOT keeping up this pace. We go home tomorrow to stay for a while!
